On a bright and sunny Saturday at dry street memorial church, Langdon hills, Essex, two lovely people got married. Myself and my second shooter for the day – Hayley, were looking forward to documenting it. Mandy looked lovely in her gorgeous white dress with silver details, white veil and train and Ben looked very smart in his cravat and tailed jacket with peacock lining. It was so sunny with the sun high in the sky that everyone was smiling and relaxed, the blue colour theme looking great in the light (some say it was chosen for Ben’s love of Fosters!). Ben and his groomsmen were outside being silly and trying to calm the nerves before they all filed into the church to await Mandy who arrived in an immaculate white Skoda with blue ribbons. Everyone said she looked stunning. The service was lovely and got laughs at all the right places with lots of smiles shining through too, the vicar did very well too considering he was a last minute (literally) replacement due to sickness! Once the lucky couple were married, we got some good shots of them outside in the greens in front of the horse field, the kids happily played about in the sun until everyone was ready to head back to Ben’s mother and step-dads house for a party and some food. All in all a great day for a great couple! On a side note, the cake was amazing and a joint handmade effort by the family. Another lovely day.
